African churches are confronting the crisis with compassion and courage. They are spreading the message of prevention, caring for the sick and tending to orphans. They are bearing witness to hope as they serve in the name of Jesus Christ. For African churches the AIDS pandemic is a Matter of Faith.
African churches have turned to Christians around the world for help, and many have responded. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has sent both people and financial resources to help its longstanding partners in the fight against AIDS. |
