Storyteller

Be a storyteller! Send us your church and ministry stories and reflections.

Storytelling has long been a significant aspect of African culture, and the Black Congregational Enhancement program wants to hear your story. We want to learn from and share experiences with pastors and church leaders such as you to help grow and enhance African-American ministries.

Have you experienced church growth – numerically and/or spiritually? Do you have a successful health ministry, music ministry or after school program? To submit your story and photos, see the guidelines.

Storyteller Guidelines: Please give a brief summary of the ministry and its origins. The story should be 600 words or fewer and include the following details:

  • Name of church and location.
  • Name of ministry and its targeted audience.
  • Members who support and/or work in the program.
  • Feel free to include stories about the participants and the impact that the ministry has on the lives of the community members and the church.

Submit your stories to the office of Black Congregational Enhancement email, fax, or regular mail:
