A Wishing Well

It is always so exciting to see young people in our congregations take initiative for special projects!

Inspired by the opportunity to sponsor a garden well in the Presbyterian Giving Catalog, youth representatives from First Presbyterian Church in Mission, Texas have come up with a creative way to fund their gift - they have posted a "Wishing Well" in the narthex of their church, asking all who pass by to throw in their spare change with a prayer for those without access to clean water.

We love hearing stories of how your congregations are supporting and promoting Special Offerings projects. Send your stories and photos to Jordan and who knows - maybe yours will be the next group featured here!

  1. I just read about an award recipient who wrote about Moringa seeds and their ability to purify water. I was so pleased to find a means to support the use of this wonderful plant.
