Big Tent 2013 will be here before we know it. The theme of this year's Big Tent gathering is "Love God - Love Others." At its best, Big Tent gives us the opportunity to model the body of Christ in positive ways. Ten conferences all at the same time, with some additional workshops thrown in for good measure. Worship. Communion. Fellowship. Absolutely no business conducted, at least officially. It is a place where people of faith can gather to talk about that faith and how it plays out in our everyday lives.
In the office of Theology and Worship, we ponder this daily. And our conference, "Thinking, Praying and Living the Faith" will provide you the opportunity to ponder along with us, to see how all this pondering is lived out and can shape all of life, led by some people who ponder these things really, really well. And we'd like to have you join us, ponder with us and go forth to think, pray and live faithfully.
You can get a feel of how thinking, praying and living out our faith shapes the work of our office through a series of videos from our staff, which are found on the right side of this blog page. Here's Barry Ensign-George.
