International Museum of Women: Muslima

Entering interreligious dialogue through art creates space for individuals and communities to self-describe and share personal experiences of faith. It gives us a window into the myriad of narratives in our multifaith world and weaves together rich tapestries of voices we would not otherwise hear. With this in mind, I invite you to experience Muslima, a wonderful online art exhibition that curates art by Muslim women from around the world. An effort of the International Museum of Women (IMOW), Muslima brings together narratives told through poetry, short stories, paintings, photography, and many other mediums. The exhibit grows daily as art is added to the collection at a rapid clip. Much of the exhibition highlights the identity and spiritual formation of Muslim women. Hear, see, and experience the creativity of these amazing artists and fascinating online gallery. Explore Muslima here.
