Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 2013

Halloween costumes have appeared in New York City. However you observe the holiday, consider participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF this year.

Started by Presbyterians, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is a prime fundraiser for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works in more than 190 countries and territories to save and improve children's lives, providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more.

UNICEF works toward the day when ZERO children die from preventable causes and every child has a safe and healthy childhood.

Children, and adults have raised more than $170 million since 1950 through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Those funds have allowed UNICEF to save and improve children's lives by addressing survival, protection, and development issues.

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF provides resources for families, elementary school teachers, and clubs and groups to use to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.

A seminar group from the Presbytery of Geneva learned about the work of UNICEF and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Robin made a special appearance and allowed group members to contribute to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.

You can contribute, too!

  2. Mark, Thank you for hosting our group from the Geneva Presbytery. The information you gave us about the Presbyterian Church's involvement and partnerships in mission was eye opening and inspiring. Also thanks for including my IPad photo of our UNICEF trick or treater. Our intervene rational group had a great mission trip. Rev.Dr. Deb Lind-Schmitz
