Fall 2013 - Spring 2014 Volunteer at the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations - Esther Lee

Esther Lee with Red HandsMy name is Esther Lee, and I am currently a junior at New York University pursuing a degree in Economics. This academic year, I have the privilege of being a volunteer intern here at the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations. I am serving at the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations because of my desire to develop further passion and love for people and the world. I am interested in seeing how God works through the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)  in addressing large-scale problems. Through this meaningful volunteering opportunity, I am eager to learn about the current global issues, their effects on the people/countries, and the actions that are implemented to overcome them.

I also look forward to meeting people who share the compassionate heart for peace and justice.

I look forward to serving at the Presbytery this year; I hope and pray that this journey will be an informative, inspiring, and a joyful one.
