An invitation to dialogues in New York between the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Sikh Coalition

Mark Koenig, director of the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations offers an invitation to dialogues between the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the Sikh Coalition to mark World Interfaith Harmony Week. The dialogues are sponsored by the Sikh Coalition, the Presbyterian Church's Office of Interfaith Relations, the Committee on Witness to Society and the World of the Presbytery of New York City, Presbyterian Men in the Presbytery of New York City, the Church of the Covenant, Rutgers Presbyterian Church, West-Park Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations.

The Super Bowl and Human Trafficking

There is a lot of talk about the Super Bowl and human trafficking. In our community, here in New York City, voices are being raised, actions are happening!  The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Human Trafficking Roundtable and partners have been careful not to conflate human trafficking with prostitution: while some prostitution is trafficking, not all is.

Our partners in at the Freedom Network USA have responded with a press release that addresses the question of sex trafficking and the Super Bowl and other large sporting events.

World Interfaith Harmony Week is observed during the first week of February.
