Seeking peace. Striving for justice. Together.
A hymn prayer for the International Day of Peace:
Jesu joy of our desiring
Holy wisdom, love most bright
Drawn by Thee, our souls aspiring
Soar to uncreated light

Jesu, joy, oh our heart’s comfort
Our life’s strength, our soul’s sweet sun,
We need love, unwavering vision
To restore what we’ve undone ...
The International Ecumenical Peace Convocation (IEPC) gathered in Kingston, Jamaica on May 17-25, 2011. Sarah Henken and Mark Koenig led a workshop on Accompaniment as Peacemaking that featured the Colombia Accompaniment Program. Here are some resources from the IEPC to help individuals and churches to renew their commitment to nonviolence, peace and justice:

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
