Presbyterians have served at the forefront of health missions around the world for more than 100 years. International Health Ministries works in partnership with overseas churches and institutions to facilitate health programs that place priority on the most vulnerable and poorest segments of the population. These programs operate in more than 30 countries worldwide.
Learn about the church’s work in one such country — Malawi. Though recently classified the poorest nation on earth, Malawi has a strong and historic network of health missions that founded five hospitals, fostered extensive community health programs and now works to address the cause and effect links of poverty and illness.
Take note
