Live your faith!

Summer is a wonderful time to take a break from school, enjoy time outside, reconnect with old friends and make new ones and learn skills that you don’t learn in school.

Working at summer camp can be a great way to give back to others while you are enjoying your summer. Work is varied at camp and includes jobs as counselors, support staff and even volunteers. No matter what job you take at camp, you are sure to meet lifelong friends.

You will also learn more about your faith. You are not expected to be an religious expert, but by telling others about your faith (through leading Bible studies) you learn more about what being a Christian means to your life.

Caring for others and focusing on others besides yourself is also a great way to live out your life as a Christian. You will have to put your needs to the side to care for your campers. Your days will be tiring but the more you give of yourself to your campers, the more they will change your life.
