Children's Sabbath: October

When Will We Hear? Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Call to Justice and Peace is the theme of this year's Children's Sabbath. This year's manual focuses on the triple dangers of materialism, militarism and racism Dr. King warned about in the last years of his life. Today, 40 years later, our children must still contend with the same threats. Manuals will be available July 1. Use to plan a Children's Sabbath the weekend of October 19 or on another date that better fits your congregation's schedule

Presbyterian Church (USA) supplement
When you order a Children's Sabbath manual, you will also receive a supplement with information on programs and initiatives of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A. that benefit children, both here and worldwide.
