Welcome to Church Leadership Connection (CLC), the PC(USA)'s
web-based matching and referral system.
As the Clerk of Session for your congregation, your role in
the CLC system is to verify session's approval of the Church
Information Form (CIF) submitted by your Pastor Nominating Committee
(PNC) or Search Committee. On-line users of CLC are also able
to view the CIF as it has been submitted.
Overview of Procedures for On-line Users of CLC:
- When a CIF has been submitted by your PNC or Search Committee,
the CLC system will generate an email message to you. The
email will ask you to approve the CIF, and give you step-by-step
instructions for doing so on-line.
- Go to our web site at www.pcusa.org/clc;
click on "User Login". Enter your login ID and password.
(If you do not have your login ID and initial password, please
contact your presbytery Committee on Ministry moderator, who
will assign the login ID and initial password for you. The
initial passwords are 8 characters of both letters and numbers;
the passwords are case sensitive. We recommend you change
your initial password to one easier to use as soon as you
log in for the first time.
- Your Task List enables you to approve the CIF and change
your password.
- Click on the "Approve a CIF" button. If you wish
to review the CIF, click on the CIF ID number in the top left
corner. The "yes" button has been pre-selected for
you; if session has approved the CIF, all you need to do is
click on the "submit" button.
- When a change is made to certain items on the CIF, re-approval
from the Clerk of Session and the COM is required. After you
have given the initial approval, you may receive an email
requesting that you re-approve the CIF. Follow the same procedure
as for the initial approval.
