'Plug in without shorting out' at Des Moines communication conference
The Presbytery of Des Moines is hosting “Plugging in without Shorting Out” — a conference for communicators, April 16-18, in Des Moines, Iowa. Conference topics include using technology to help congregations communicate online, learning how to do more for less, using technology to reach youth, media and worship, the emerging church conversation, spiritual disciplines and thinking outside of the box. Presbyterian Writers Guild news
The next Presbyterian Writers Guild (PWG) Conference will be held April 28-29 at the Scarritt-Bennett Center in Nashville, Tenn. Cecil Murphey and Mike Brewer are keynote speakers. Register online.
PWG is also now seeking entries for its annual Jim Angell Award, given annually for the best first book published by a Presbyterian published in the previous calendar year. See details in the Presbyterian News Service article.
