Presbyterian Communicators Meet at Menucha
by Susan E. Lindsey
Web 2.0, podcasting, blogging and twittering — more than two dozen people avidly listened to and participated in great discussions on new and traditional tools for communicating faith at the third 2008 Presbyterian Communicators’ Network conference, held at the Menucha Retreat & Conference Center in Corbett, Ore., Oct. 29-31. The conference featured five plenary sessions and six workshops on a wide range of topics, including online social networking, podcasting, media relations, online gift markets and more. Participants also enjoyed one-on-one networking opportunities and shared worship services.
The Menucha conference was the final regional conference in 2008. In 2009, the Presbyterian Communicators’ Network national conference will be held in conjunction with the Big Tent event June 11-13 in Atlanta, Georgia.
