Nominating Committee
The General Assembly
Nominating Committee proposes nominees to the General Assembly
and ensures that careful consideration is given to the nomination
of equal numbers of ministers (both women and men), laymen,
and laywomen. The staff also provides resources to similar committees
in other governing bodies. It ensures the competence, skills,
diversity, and regional representation needed on the General
Assembly entities. The office maintains, for a period of two
General Assemblies, the files of persons whose papers have been
received.
