To request a professional audit, call your local electric or
gas utility (they often do energy audits for no or low cost).
You might also find energy auditing services by calling your
state or local government energy or weatherization office, by
checking the telephone directory under "Energy," or
by contacting the National Association of Energy Service Companies
(NAESCO) at (202)-822-0950 or www.naesco.org.

Energy, click here.
- Before contracting with an energy auditing company, take
the following steps:
- Get five references and contact them. Ask if they were satisfied
with the work.
- Call the Better Business Bureau and ask about any complaints
against the company.
- Make sure the auditor uses a calibrated blower door.
- Make sure they do thermographic inspections.
Once your church has undergone an energy audit and implemented
one of the new recommendations, please submit the following
web form to become an Electric Steward Congregation. Or, print
and mail the following form to Enough For Everyone, Presbyterian
Church (USA), 100 Witherspoon Street, Louisville KY 40202-1396.
