Washington Office
The Presbyterian Washington Office is the public policy information
and advocacy office of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.A.). Its task is to advocate, and help the church to
advocate, the social witness perspectives and policies of the
Presbyterian General Assembly. The office provides an Ecology and Environment page with quarterly bulletins, actions and letters to legislators.

National
Council of Churches of Christ Eco-Justice Working Group
The Eco-Justice Working Group of the National Council of Churches
provides an opportunity for the national bodies of member Protestant
and Orthodox denominations to work together to protect and restore
God's Creation. 'Environmental Justice' is an holistic term
that includes all ministries designed to heal and defend creation.
Eco-Justice is an even broader term that includes efforts to
assure justice for all of creation and the human beings who
live in it.

for Restoring Creation
Presbyterians for Restoring Creation is a national grassroots
non-profit in support of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s
environmental mission in all parts of the church. PRC is a faith
community dedicated to environmental wholeness with social justice,
seeking to be a prophetic voice for substantive change in the
church and in the world.

Peacemaking Program
One of the commitments a congregation makes when it signs the
Commitment to Peacemaking is to “make peace with the earth.”
The Presbyterian Peacemaking Program is
committed to peaceful keeping and restoring of God’s creation.

Hunger Program
Seeking to restore creation often overlaps with seeking an end
to poverty and hunger. The Presbyterian Hunger Program (PHP)
is a ministry of the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian
Church (U.S.A.). PHP provides a channel through which Presbyterians
can be engaged in the fight against hunger. The new “Food
and Faith” program especially overlaps with environmental

for Everyone
Whichever your interest — shade-grown coffee, organic t-shirts,

General Assembly Council within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Advisory Committee on Social
Witness Policy
As a servant of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the advisory committee develops, interprets and monitors policies that encourage
and challenge the Church and society to reflect and act in faithful

United
Nations Office
The Presbyterian U.N. Office represents the Presbyterian Church
(U.S.A.) at the United Nations. Staff members help to equip
Presbyterians for discipleship by training them to put their
faith into action in the global arena.

Web of Creation
The Web of Creation, based at Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, seeks to foster the movement for personal and social transformation to a just and sustainable world from religious perspectives. Resources, educational materials, worship aids, ideas and strategies are provided.

Ceres
Ceres (pronounced “series”) is a national network of investors, environmental organizations and other pubic interest groups working with companies and investors to address sustainability challenges such as global climate change. Ceres provides information on what is happening in corporations today.

Investor Network on Climate Risk (INCR)
INCR is a network of institutional investors and financial institutions dedicated to promoting better understanding of the financial risks and investment opportunities posed by climate change. It provides valuable information on investor actions to address climate change risks and move toward a sustainable future.
