The purpose of the Cross Cultural Alliance of Ministries is to provide a forum where critical issues facing the local and national church may be addressed. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has urgent challenges to address: we are still 92 percent white in a nation that is two-thirds white; the average age of our members approaches 60; we lose over 40,000 members a year. We need to dream new dreams and cast new visions. Come join us for

Mission Outreach Opportunity
A Mission Outreach trip to the Martha O’Bryan Center on August 30, 2007
The Health Mission on the Move (MOM) is a mobile health education unit, a program of the National Health Ministries of the PC(USA). MOM advocates for quality health care access and information on behalf of the underserved population. MOM provides blood pressure screenings, a wealth of health information resources and a comprehensive health risk assessment. The Martha O’Bryan Center was founded by a Presbyterian woman and is a family resource center located in the James A Cayce Housing community. The center seeks to empower “those living in poverty to obtain greater self-reliance through employment and education.” This is exactly the type of community MOM seeks to serve.
If you are interested in volunteering for this important mission, please contact Project Coordinator Chandra Kearns.
