Revised task force releases initial drafts
October 20, 2008
The Form of Government Task Force, reconfigured by the 218th General Assembly (2008), has released its initial revised drafts for study and feedback by the church-at-large. The task force is especially desirous of receiving feedback from sessions, presbyteries, and synods, but will prayerfully consider and review all comments submitted.
In addition to the study drafts of the Foundations of Presbyterian Polity and the proposed Form of Government, the following documents include suggestions for individual preparation and guidelines for group response to the study drafts. The task force has also provided a resource on missional ecclesiology and an advisory handbook for councils.
