RICHMOND, June 3 - Members of the Assembly Mission Coordination and Budget Committee met early Saturday and unanimously approved an unprecedented two-year mission budget calling for expenditures of $114,387,431 for 2005 and $115,058,841 for 2006.
The Assembly approved those budgets as well as the committee's instruction to the General Assembly Council (GAC) "to make the adjustments necessary to incorporate into these budgets the items with financial implications that have been approved by the 216th General Assembly."
That means the GAC will have to compensate for nearly $80,000 in additional work the commissioners added to the mission budget over the next two years. |
