In the interest of safety
and security of all attendees, the following procedures are
in place:
A government-issued
photo identification is required to pick up your assembly
name badge and registration materials on-site; please have
it with you at the convention center.
All attendees are strongly encouraged to
register, and to wear their assembly name badge when attending
meetings and activities in the convention center. Those who
did not register in advance may register and obtain a badge
on-site. The on-site registration fee is $10, which is waived
for minor children accompanying their parents, and attendees
for whom this would be a financial hardship. Registration
is located in the Registration Lobby of the Convention Center.
Only registered attendees with an official
assembly name badge are admitted to the assembly plenary hall.
Badges are not required for access to assembly committee meetings,
worship services, or the exhibit hall (during published hours).
Access to the seating area for commissioners
and advisory delegates is limited to those participants and
to designated staff and volunteers. Access to the plenary
hall stage and backstage area is limited to authorized staff.
Mailboxes for commissioners, advisory
delegates and presbyteries and synods are located in Hall
A and B (the Plenary Hall) and will be accessible beginning
Saturday, June 26, only during hours the hall is open to the
public. Packages and sealed envelopes may not be placed in
these boxes.
