  Frequently Asked Questions

If you are receiving an error when attempting to view audio/video content, this could be due to a number of issues:
  • We are no longer supporting Windows Media Player version 6.4 and earlier. Unfortunately, Windows 95 and Windows NT do not support newer versions of Windows Media Player.
  • You are behind a firewall that does not allow Windows Media Player access. This is generally the case if you are in a workplace environment. Check with your network/systems administrator.
  • Your connection may be too slow. We have tried to optimize the audio stream for 28.8K modem users, but in the case of a noisy line or old computers, it is possible that the connection simply isn't good enough.
  • Upgrading to a quality 56K modem could help.
  • If all else fails, uninstalling and then reinstalling Windows Media Player may provide a solution. You can download the latest version of Windows Media Player here.

You can also get support by sending a message through our feedback form with as much information as possible about the problem and your system, including the following info:

  • Type of error
  • The exact error message that appears (if there is one)
Your operating system (Windows 98, Windows NT, MacOS 9.1, OS X, etc.)
  • Your system configuration (processor type, speed, RAM, hard disk space, etc.)
  • Your connection to the internet (28.8k modem, cable, xDSL, T1, etc.)
  • If you are behind a firewall or not; whether you are accessing the audio/video from an office environment.
