All members of the General Assembly Council are elected for
one six-year term with the following exceptions:
- Present Moderator of the General Assembly — serve one two-year term.
- Past Moderator of the General Assembly — serve one two-year term.
- Moderator-Presbyterian Women — appointed for one three-year term.
- Ecumenical Advisory Members — elected for a two-year term and are eligible
for two additional terms.
- Stewardship Committee and Audit Committee at-large members are elected for
a two-year term to serve on their respective committee and are eligible for two
additional terms.
