Mission
Policy Guide
The Mission Policy Guide contains brief descriptions
of major actions of the general assemblies from 1973 through
the current year. It is intended to assist persons doing research,
on current topics before the church or on past actions of the
General Assembly, by directing them to the appropriate General
Assembly Minutes which will provide them with the full and official
action of the assemblies.
How to use the Guide
Once you have downloaded the Mission Policy Guide and opened
it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may search for topics of interest
using one of two ways. Use the search menu (Edit > Search)
to query the text for specific words or phrases.
You may also click on Acrobat's search icon (binoculars) to
start searching.
The Guide is divided into sections:
Current topics. These are items that have been submitted
to the General Assembly and referred to an agency or entity
for further work with a report due to a future General Assembly.

Past actions of the General Assembly — 1973 through
the current year. These are major actions of the Assembly
for which work or action has been completed.

will be updated following every General Assembly and ordinarily available in
