G.A. Meeting Service
The G.A. Meeting Service is the department
of the Office of the General Assembly with primary responsibility
for planning for the General Assembly meeting and some other
OGA-related meetings.
The staff of the G.A. Meeting Service process
and track the business related to the assembly (such as overtures,
recommendations from entities, etc.); contract with the convention
center, hotels, and other facilities; work with the Committee
on the Office of the General Assembly to recommend the docket
of the assembly; manage assembly registration, housing and ticket
sales; manage the exhibit hall; and handle other logistics.
The G.A. Meeting Service also works with OGA
committees and colleagues on arrangements and registration for
other conferences and meetings.
