| Permanent Judicial Commission
Decision 212-9
Mairi Hair and James McCallum
v.
Session of First Presbyterian Church, Stamford, CT
ORDER OF DISMISSAL
This remedial case has come before this Commission on appeals filed by both parties from a decision of the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Synod of the Northeast. In that decision the remedial case had been remanded to the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Presbytery of Southern New England with instructions for the session and the presbytery commission.
Prior to review of the jurisdictional questions in this case, the Commission received a joint motion to dismiss the case as both sides determined that it would be appropriate to wait for a final determination by the presbytery commission before taking further steps in judicial process. As the matter is currently within the jurisdiction of the presbytery commission, it is appropriate to grant the joint motion to dismiss the case.
It is therefore ordered that the case be dismissed.
