Many areas of the US do not have sufficient health professionals to provide medical services and to educate about health and wellness. This mission project will provide funds for health related mission in the US. Funds given to this project will enable the National Health Ministries Mobile Health Education Van to travel to churches in medically underserved areas, utilizing both staff and volunteers to offer "hands-on" health risk assessments and programs for children and adults. Programs will include coordination with service providers to perform mobile health services, screening and health risk education interventions for children and their parents. |
