The Theological Educators for Presbyterian Social Witness is a group of Presbyterian ethics professors who primarily teach in the theological seminaries and colleges and those who have had involvement in the development of the church's social witness policy. The group meets once a year at the various seminaries to foster community among Presbyterian ethicists, to learn about the context of ethical thought on the various campuses through interaction with faculty, administrators and members of the community, to consult with one another on current issues of contemporary concern to church and society, to enhance their pedagogical skills and to be familiar with recently adopted Presbyterian social witness policy and to offer reflection on policy in the development stage. |
