Provides year-long internship experience for a seminary student involving the intern in the development and interpretation of PC(USA) social witness policy. The intern will be exposed to current social justice issues at the Presbyterian Center, the Washington Office and the United Nations Office, learn research techniques, work with small diverse groups in developing policy and engage the church through interpreting policy. Intern will work cooperatively with the staff team for the Advisory Committee on Social Witness Policy. |
