Chenoa Stock is filling this position and is the PC(USA)'s only missionary in Sri Lanka. The Joining Hands program is affiliated with the Presbyterian Hunger Program. Chenoa works with a network of grassroots organizations, NGOs, and religious bodies as they address hunger issues in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami. She also helps connect the Sri Lankan network with Presbyterian partners in the United States. Her position is funded by some of the tsunami relief funds given through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. |
