Ruth Farrell serves as a missionary-in-residence providing leadership and expertise for the Presbyterian Hunger Program's work in fair trade. Ruth had previously served as a mission worker for over a decade in Congo and Peru. While in Peru she worked with poor women, youth, and men in Peru's central Andes region by developing a microenterprise. She was also site coordinator for the Young Adult Volunteer program. Her work now connects her mission experience with the programs of Relief and Development in the Presbyterian Hunger Program. |
