Gifts will support hunger-related development assistance programs and projects within the Christian mission and service program of our church and society. We shall encourage those programs that combat hunger through integrated development and empowerment of people in the United States, in such areas as development of local food economies, community organizing, low-income housing development, job training and creation, nutrition education, and living wage campaigns. |
