![]() National Korean Presbyterian Women As moderator of National Korean Presbyterian Women (NKPW), I am thrilled to be a part of this vibrant and progressive organization at a time when many exciting new patterns are emerging within and around it. We have just celebrated our twentieth anniversary in 2007. During the past 20 years, not only has our membership grown but also our mission boundary has expanded to Nicaragua, Kazakhstan, China and Korea, as well as to various other organizations within the United States. Since its founding, NKPW has always focused on doing mission and educating women to nurture their ability to become leaders. To develop women’s leadership skills for the next generation, 10 years ago NKPW established a satellite organization that travels to different states three to four times a year offering educational seminars for laywomen. Learn about the many ways the National Korean Presbyterian Women are giving vibrant and progressive contributions to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Call (800) 524-2612 or subscribe to Horizons or order the January/February 2008 issue (HZN-08-200; $4 plus shipping).
