Will applying online speed up the hiring process?
Yes! Online submission will eliminate a great deal of paperwork and provide a fast and efficient way to respond to and track applicants. Communication through email provides another avenue to contact applicants for follow-up.
What type of files can be submitted online?
Currently only text (.txt) and Microsoft Word (.doc) resumes are accepted. Word 2007 (.docx) files are currently not accepted and will need to be saved as a Word 97–2003 document.
How will I know if you have received my resume?
Receipt of your application will be acknowledged by email. If more information is needed and/or an interview is desired, an HR representative may contact you through your email address and/or phone number.
How can I apply online when I don’t have access to a computer?
We will use your email address as a unique identifier to follow-up and track applications. If you do not have an email address, please sign up for a free email address with either Yahoo or Hotmail.
There are a variety of agencies with computer and Internet availability, including the public library. Many of these agencies will assist if you are unfamiliar with the Internet.
Can I submit an application in paper form?
With the electronic posting process for open positions, the fastest and most efficient way to apply for a position is to apply online. Online applications will be forwarded to the hiring departments more promptly and allow us to track and respond in a timely manner.
Scheduling interviews and other forms of notification will be communicated through your email address, eliminating wait time for mail delivery.
When do you expect to reach a decision?
The application and hiring process involves various steps and it is our intention to move through this process as timely as the various situations allow.
