Youth Ministry in the 21st Century

Now youth have a place
in the virtual world that
helps them make space
in their hearts for the
Spirit of God.
The disciplines for spiritual growth require that we make
room in our hearts for them to affect us. Now youth have
a place in the virtual world that helps them make space in
their hearts for the Spirit of God.
d365, a devotional Web site designed for youth, is
that place.
Contemplative music and an invitation to explore the
theme of each week welcome the visitor to d365. Moving
through a series of separate pages, there is a time to
pause and to reflect before moving on to listen to the day’s Scripture based on the Revised Common Lectionary.
Each day there is a devotional thought, written with
sensitivity to the world of young people, that offers a guide
to think for the visitor’s own reflection.
A short prayer is provided, again to facilitate a time for the
reader to pray. Then a benediction invites the visitor to
take what he or she has read, heard and prayed and go into the world that awaits.
d365 has been a part of the online community for six
years. A product of Passport Inc., this site is supported in
partnership with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Episcopal Church
in America.
Invite your youth into the world of d365, another way for
them to enter the heart of God. |
