This year’s ABC television network Christmas holiday special will originate from Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien, Conn. The program, produced by Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s Media Services will be shown on those ABC affiliate stations that choose to air the program during the Christmas season.
The one-hour musical program, “The Angels Sing,” is based on the traditional “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.” It features the church’s chamber choir, instrumentalists and soloists performing under the direction of Dwayne Condon, Noroton’s director of worship and fine arts ministry. Children, church members and Noroton’s pastor, the Rev. Samuel A. Schreiner III, read scripture.

Search the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission Web site for a list of stations that have currently confirmed they will air the program. The list will be updated as more stations determine their final holiday schedule. |
