As we work toward continuing this ministry,
and to bring among us other teams of Christians and persons of other faiths already
engaged in dialogue in their countries, you can help.
Your prayers for understanding and the gift of community
among all peoples of faith are one foundation for our work.
To bring interfaith teams to the United States for
three week visits will cost roughly $10,000 not counting the hospitality
and transportation provided by local hosts. Funds that you contribute will
provide for the travel and other costs of bringing teams to visit local churches,
Presbyterian-related colleges and universities and community groups.
One of out participants, Judge Aslam Khaki, from Pakistan,
was so moved by what he experienced in the Interfaith Listening visits that he
donated 1⁄2 of his small honorarium to continue the project! Together
we can cultivate understanding and promote inter-religious interaction and cooperation.
Please designate your financial
gift to the Interfaith Listening Program (E051688).
You can also support the project by communicating your interest,
questions or comments to the Interfaith
Relations Office. |
