Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Dental technician training at Shenyang High Technical Vocational School.
We send greetings from Shenyang, China, in the name of Jesus Chirst. I like to share with you the story of Shenyang High-Tech.
On June 21, 2007, Shenyang High Technical Vocational School had its fourth graduation ceremony. Not many family members were able to attend to congratulate the students, but our teachers were very proud of their students’ accomplishments. They celebrated with the students and continued to encourage them to dream and pursue their futures.
Two students in the program overcame significant obstacles to graduate. Both are physically handicapped, and we were really impressed by their amazing display of will and effort.

Mong Sang Wei.
Mong Sang Wei is a 23-year-old young man with a disability in his hand. Due to his family's poverty he had to drop out of college. It was then that he came to our school with the desire to become a dental technician.
He has a good character and is always helping other students. The elders enjoy having him at the school, as he is a perfect example of a good-hearted student. His parents lost their jobs, and they began attending church and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Now their life is full of joy. When he registered, we arranged for him to receive a two-year full scholarship. And now he is a graduate of our program.
Choi Ai Rong is a 26-year-old woman with disabilities in her legs. Her legs are bent inside, and although she is able to walk, every step she takes is uncomfortable. Both her mother and father are handicapped as well, and they are very poor. We made arrangements for her to receive a full scholarship and provided her with some living expenses until graduation. She was a hard worker and really took her education seriously. All of her hard work has paid off; she has become a fantastic dental technician and even though she hasn’t yet graduated, she has already found employment.
China has many different ethnic groups. The vocational school also has many ethnic groups enrolled. Our students range from Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, Manchurian, etc. It is wonderful to see how they work, learn, and live together in harmony.

Dental technician training.
The Korean-Chinese families face large difficulties in raising their young. Many Korean-Chinese parents are searching for good employment, which often requires them to leave their children for several years at a time. During this time the children are raised by grandparents and after many years away, the children cannot recognize the faces of their mother and father. A lot of times these kids become rebellious to their grandparents and involve themselves in street life. Many of these young teens end up becoming a social problem. Our school has taken in many of these Korean-Chinese students who are in this situation. It is truly amazing to see the transformation that has taken place with these students, from caring and Christ's love.
I saw the kingdom of God through the students. And because I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, I am to practice Christ's love with them so they will learn God's love.
Show yourself in all respects a model of good work, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, and sound speech that cannot be censured; then any opponent will be out to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.
Titus 2:7-8
