Judy’s Bible Studies
Hirona and Inori from Tajimi Church are dressed in their school uniforms.
For the past few years, Judy has been teaching two women’s English Bible studies, one at Kozoji Church two Thursday afternoons a month, and one in our home two Wednesday mornings a month. One is on Matthew and the other on Luke. She has been excited about supposedly still “non-Christian” women telling her how they are praying for their families or other situations, and about how close many seem to be to coming across the threshold of faith. Your prayers will be valuable in this joint venture of faith with you!
I used to teach a women’s English Bible study at Naka Church—I’ve been teaching at six churches—but I have just tagged hands with Judy for this one. They have asked her to teach them how to raise their families in the Lord. With our own children reaching teen-hood, Judy is enjoying this chance to get out more.
Summer Youth Camps
This summer I’ll be involved in youth camps. Meg’s group will be going to the one at the beginning of August, and a couple of the college students are seriously considering coming to the college-and-above camp a couple weeks later. Please pray the college students will respond to my invitations to attend.
