Vol. 2, No. 12

Hello Everyone,

Aïchatou and I are now married and into our third week of marriage. We’ve been in Niamey since April 23 after spending a few days in Zinder and a couple days in Maradi. There was no real honeymoon to speak of, but we are planning to spend a week in Quebec when we’re in North America this summer. So far, everything has been going well and we’ve yet to have our first argument.

I’ll be returning to Maradi in two days and continue with my work there.

Because I’m in Niamey, I can send a couple of digital photos from the wedding. I can’t do this in Maradi because the phone system there can’t handle it.

Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes and especially the prayers. We are looking forward to seeing many of you in person in just two months!

Tom and Aichatou
