Croatia Summer Ministry Update
Thanks all of you who pray for the ministry of the Reformed Church
in Croatia. Its a great summer so far. We have just concluded
a youth conference week (day camp) for just under 100 kids! God
is good. A congregation in northern Kentucky provided funds to
rent the bus to make daily runs through all the villages, collecting
the young people. Some seminarians came down from Hungary to join
our local staff to make it a great program. I cant tell
you how significant this is for a Church that has for a long time
not been in a position to have youth events due to the war, economic
hardship, and lack of trained leaders. But now, all of that is
changing. We take this as a positive sign of Gods grace
and a part of his "future with hope" that we believe
he has for us (Jer. 29:11). Our plan is to have many more and
more regular day camps, conferences, retreats, and meetings now
that we have the people in place to do it. Thank you for your
prayers and help! I hope you get a flavor from the photos.
Grace and peace,
Steven and Michelle Kurtz, Mission co-workers, Osijek, Croatia.
