Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples.
For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the
Lord endures forever. Hallelu Yah.
Psalms 117
Join us this week in giving thanks to God:
- For Susie Frerichs’s safe travel and her visit to the
border and Texas from the Huastecas as she conducts ministry
business. Susie gives thanks for all of Gods blessings.
- For safe travels for Chris in January to Toronto and Louisville
for mission orientation with the PC(USA). Thanks for those who
worked hard to facilitate that trip.
- For the homes and work space provided to the Amistad ministry
and its coordinators in Laredo and Nuevo Laredo and for new
friends.
- For the first Amistad board meeting of 2007, held on January
27, and the opportunity to fellowship and work together in this
ministry. Pray that the financial challenges for the ministry
would be met.
Join us this week in seeking God's intervention on behalf of:
- Maritza Pat and the ministry in Castaños. Pray also
for the health of her daughter and good work for her husband,
Elias.
- Pray for Noe Esparza and his family. Pray for success of
Noe’s new business in Saltillo and safety as he travels
to see his family who, for now, still reside in Nuevo Laredo.
- For this weeks’ annual Presbyterian Border Ministry
meeting in Monterrey—that all would have safe travels
and God blessings during the week-long conference.
- For the Noreste Presbytery meeting at the end of the week,
held in Monterrey—that all would be given God’s
guidance in all decision-making.
- Pray that this year will be a year of friendships—to
renew your relationships with old friends and to make new friends
at your partner churches in Mexico!
- For all the mission teams that will be visiting Mexico this
year, as well as those from Mexico who will be visiting U.S.
churches.
Yours,
Chris
As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent
me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the
world, I am the light of the world. (What Jesus said before
he made mud to heal the blind man.)
John 9:4-5
