Tricia and I have been very busy with Pasos de Fe work as well
as trying to maintain some sense of normalcy for Katelyn, who
attends preschool in El Paso. She is enjoying her first-ever soccer
experience, ballet classes, and is now participating in the newly
formed children’s choir at First Presbyterian Church El
Paso, which Trish has volunteered to direct.
We traveled recently to Detroit, Michigan, to speak in a “Mission
Weekend” at a church that has been supporting us and Pasos
de Fe. We also had the opportunity to travel in and out of Chicago
to visit a little with Grandma and Grandpa Reinschmidt as well
as Tricia’s sister and her family. What a blessing!
Speaking of blessings, we want to share one with you. As we now
are set to finish our second year working with mission teams with
Pasos de Fe, the Reinschmidt family’s Chevy Tahoe has been
a well used ministry vehicle. It has transported: up to 9 people
at a time on numerous occasions, countless bags of cement, 2x4’s,
2x6’s, sheets of plywood, cement blocks, tool boxes and
crates, ladders, wheel barrows, etc. But with gas prices climbing,
filling the tank has become more painful a process than ever before. |
