Kathy is ending her service as a mission co-worker in December 2009. She is available for mission interpretation.

Kathy Hoffmann was appointed in 1990 as a mission co-worker to serve with the Woodstock Christian International School in Mussoorie, a boarding school with more than 400 students from nearly 30 countries. In 2004, Woodstock celebrated 150 years as a Christian, international, residential school. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has been involved with Woodstock most of those years.

Besides her responsibilities as academic dean, Kathy still teaches. In 2004, Kathy completed 20 years of service with with Woodstock.

"Rich and rewarding" is how Kathy describes her time at Woodstock, which has been supported by PC(USA) since 1990. "The ministry of Christian education in a diverse community is wonderful witness," writes Kathy, "and an avenue to expressing the life and integrity of Jesus. Over these years I have taught children from all over the world, every continent. Now they are young adults in those places finding their own careers and commitments. The things they learned in school will be the tools they use to discover truth and make their contribution. The potential in this kind of residential diverse educational setting is tremendous. I have been privileged to be part of these young peoples’ lives and have ongoing correspondence with them in their joys and sorrows. India is a challenging and important part of their education, making them globally aware and sensitive to world needs."
