Beth ended her term of service in June 2003.

Beth coordinates mission and education opportunities for mission groups that visit Puentes de Cristo, one of seven border ministries of the Presbyterian Border Ministries, a joint project of PC(USA) and the National Presbyterian Church of Mexico. A long-term international volunteer, Beth also coordinates the water projects in Reynosa, Mexico. Her term of service began in June 2001 and ends in June of 2003.

"I have felt a call to mission service for many years and have participated in mission in many ways," says Beth, who has been director of Christian Education in several churches. "I have led youth and adult mission trips to areas in and outside of the United States. I have also participated in mission trips coordinated by others. I am amazed and inspired by the love of Jesus Christ I have experienced through God’s people all around the world."

Most recently, Beth was interim director of Christian education and youth at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Hoover, Alabama, (January to June 2001). From 1992 to 2000, she was director of Christian education at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. From 1990 to 1992, she was director of Christian education at First Presbyterian Church in Laurens, South Carolina., and from 1985 to 1989, she was director of youth and college ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Waco, Texas.

Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and a master’s degree in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Virginia.

Beth is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama, where she is a deacon.
