| Todd and Tricia are responsible
for hosting, organizing, and facilitating the visits of “mission
teams” that come to help in various projects organized by
Pasos de Fe, and they also help the churches meet their needs.
Every year dozens of churches—Presbyterian, churches from
other denominations, and other organizations—send teams
to Pasos de Fe to work with and learn from Mexican Presbyterians.
According to the Reinschmidts’ testimony, their lives were
forever changed during a mission trip to Pasos de Fe in July 2003.
“Immediately, I was struck with awe at the faith that my
Mexican brothers and sisters have,” writes Tricia. “I
believe that is because, unlike most of the people in U.S. society,
they don’t have very many material things to depend and
rely on. They have such an awesome faith that God will provide.
Throughout my week there, my prayer was that God would teach me
to have faith as strong as my new friends.”
Todd taught and coached soccer in the Cartersville city schools
