| This isn’t Brice’s
first experience in mission service with the Worldwide Ministries
Division. From 1995 to 2000, he served with Presbyterian Border
Ministries in Puentes de Cristo, a project that spans the U.S.
Mexico border at Hidalgo, Texas. Here he developed a set of skills—planning,
coordinating, relating to other cultures, and leading mission
groups—that serve him well in his ministry in Cairo.
Prior to his service on the U.S.-Mexico border, Brice worked
with Jacksonville Campus Ministry in Jacksonville, Florida, and
at the Mongomery Conference Center in Keystone Heights, Florida.
He holds a bachelor’s in Spanish and history from the University
of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brice has a master’s of divinity from Austin Presbyterian
Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas. He was ordained to the
ministry of Word and Sacrament in February 2004 and is a minister
member of the Presbytery of St. Augustine.
On July 7, 2007, Brice married Sungmin Cho, a Presbyterian from South Korea.
