Under the direction
of the General Assembly Council, the Joining Hearts & Hands
Steering Committee provides the leadership for the Joining Hearts
& Hands funds development effort. Members of the Steering
Committee set policies and procedures, and work with the Joining
Hearts & Hands Development Staff to help identify, cultivate,
and solicit major gift prospects. Members also assist in coordinating
volunteer efforts and facilitating partnerships with middle-governing
bodies and churches. The Joining Hearts & Hands Steering Committee
will be composed of 15 members-at-large, the chairs of the Worldwide
Ministries Division and National Ministries Division (General
Assembly Council) Committees, the president of the PC(USA) Foundation,
the GAC executive director, and the directors of WMD, NMD and
CMD. The director of Joining Hearts & Hands is also a member
of the Steering Committee.
