Our mission

Jesus Christ commands his disciples to go into the world, preaching the good news and living a life that exhibits love for God, neighbor and self (Matthew 28:19-20). Mission Program Grants (MPG) are made available to congregations and presbyteries that are seeking to respond to this commandment by organizing new congregations, transforming existing congregations or developing congregational-based ministries. Dates and deadlines

Mission Program Grants

  • Deadline for applications to be received in Louisville Office – March 1 and September 1 of each year.

Committee meeting dates for consideration of applications

  • May 1–2, 2008
  • November 13–14, 2008

Sam and Helen R. Walton Award

  • Deadline for nominations to be received in Louisville office – January 31 of each year.
